Historic Home Addition
Our team took on the exciting challenge of expanding and enhancing a historic home in Quincy. The objective was to create a new, expanded living space on the main level and add a bedroom with a luxurious bathroom suite on the upper floor. Additionally, an upper-floor laundry area was incorporated to enhance functionality of the addition and make laundry more convenient for the homeowner.
The true test of this project lay in seamlessly integrating the new addition with the existing structure, all while maintaining the historic aesthetic. To achieve a perfect match, we had to use custom-cast concrete, meticulously replicating the texture, color, and character of the existing stonework. The result was a cohesive blend of old and new that flawlessly preserved the home's historic design.
